Los Angeles based artist Paige Stark is a filmmaker, writer, and musician born under a Capricorn sun and a Gemini moon on the beaches of Southern California. She began her professional career as musician & actor before falling in love with being behind the camera.
She has since directed numerous music videos, fashion films, and commercials. Her work often explores the nuances of femininity and the complexity of the female gaze. She is inspired by performers and loves working with actors, dancers, comedians, and musicians. Her work has appeared in Spin Magazine, Vice, Nylon, Flaunt, Fader, Interview Magazine, Flood, Foxes and The Hollywood Reporter among other publications. She is a film enthusiast and loves shooting on all film formats.
Paige is currently in pre-production for her narrative short, The Other Side (sponsored by Film Independent) as well as developing her debut feature film, In the Nighttime.
